We love to hear the announcement that an artist or group is going to reinvent their sound. We loves it even more when they hear the new work and actually like it.
We love it most when it’s someone we already know and love, and that artist is none other than Stine Bramsen.
The former lead vocalist for the Danish pop group Alphabeat has decided to embark on a solo career.
Shortly after starting off, Bramsen joined Morten Hampenberg & Alexander Brown for the single “I Want You.” This was quite a step from the pop-styled band sound she was known for in Alphabeat, even with their songs “Hole in my Heart” and “Boyfriend” which presented dance elements along with their signature sound.
Her latest endeavor was one to be heard AND seen. Bramsen performed. Combined with a gospel choir and a full organ, Bramsen performed her latest song “Prototypical” for the P3 Guld radio award shows. - Michael Feloni
