Listen Up - Krewella
Krewella are one of the most exciting EDM groups around today, and 2013 is going to be THEIR YEAR. The trio has been around since 2007, but they really started gaining steam in 2012. They toured the US, released an EP, and even played at Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Tuesdays (a huge honor for anyone trying to make it in the electronic dance world).
I love the name, and I love the jams. They have an album coming out sometime this year (slated for summer, but that’s still a ways off), and they are upping their touring schedule in accordance with their rising fame. This is a name you’re going to start hearing a lot more, so start listening to them now.
PS – is it just me, or is EDM basically always better with a female voice?
Here are some of the many reasons why you’re going to love Krewella (if dubstep is your thing):
Are they riding high on this dubstep craze? Yes. Does it matter at the moment? No. Will you care when you hear this in a club? FUCK NO.
Krewella have a couple of sites, and you can grab their ‘Play Hard EP’ (which has all of the preceding songs and more) here.
