A little over a month ago I reviewed British pop singer Marina and the Diamonds’ new album ‘Electra Heart’. I really enjoyed the album, and so far the two singles off it are tickling my fancy as well.
In my review, I made mention of the biggest single off the CD – “Primadonna” – a electro piece of fun that really shows who she is as an artist these days.
Interesting and unique, Marina is doing pop a favor. And the British love her – ‘Electra Heart’ debuted at #1 (and a respectable #31 in the US, where “Primadonna” got some very basic radio play and then seemed to disappear).
