Free Download - Adele
As Adele’s ‘21’ is winding down (winding down meaning it isn’t in the top 10 anymore, but obviously will be again), I think it is important to look back at her other CD. I loved ‘19’, and while it didn’t sell as well (it certainly upped in shipments after ’21’ took off though), I thought it was wonderful in its own right. The album had “Chasing Pavements”, which not only won a Grammy of its own, but helped Adele beat Duffy and the Jonas Brothers to the Best New Artist trophy.
‘19’ is still a fantastic album, and while it is great on its own, you know that I am always up for a remix. Mick Boogie, an American producer, hip-hop artist, and mashup/mixtape impresario remixed the tracks from ‘19’ and has put the mixtape online for all to enjoy. You can get the album (nine songs long) by clicking here. You’ll have to log in and all that nonsense, but if you like what you hear, it might be worth it. The mixtape is called 1988, and it features some really laid-back remixes (because ‘19’ didn’t have enough laid back sounds already?). Here are a few for you all to listen to before you head over and download the entire tape. Cool, yes? Alright, now go get the rest of the songs and enjoy. |
