I know I’ve been writing about live events a lot recently, but there’s a reason for that: THIS IS MUSIC. Music is great in the studio, but nothing beats seeing a show live. No matter the genre, seeing something live is an experience that really can’t be replicated. Sure it may sound different from what you’re used to, but that doesn’t mean that a live recording can’t be enjoyed on its own merits.

Dance and EDM have become the most amazing live shows you can go see these days. An EDM show with lights, lazers, fog, an absolutely unbeatable sound system and thousands of people around you dancing? NOTHING COMES CLOSE.

Electric Zoo is one of the biggest EDM festivals in the world, and it takes place every year around Labor Day in New York City. Sadly I missed it this year (too busy!!!), but don’t worry, you can relive some of it! I will go trolling around Youtube to see if I can find any awesome videos from this year, but until then, why not enjoy a free download of DJ A-Trak’s set?
