7.4.12 - New Music - Will.I.Am and Eva Simons

Will.I.Am has been at this a long time, and he just keeps truckin’. Good for him.

His newest single off of his upcoming solo album (while the Peas are on a break – apparently Will doesn’t know how to take a break)’#willpower’ is the one that is actually taking off – at least in certain territories. The song is Will.I.Am’s first solo #1 in the UK, same with Eva.

As far as my opinion, I’m not huge on the song, but I also won’t knock it too bad. A bit overdone and stereotypical, but I like that Will didn’t just do this one on his own – he called in help on the production side from Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia. Max Martin helped write the tune, which shows why it isn’t as poorly written as we’re used to when it comes to Will.I.Am.
