6.19.13 - New Music - David Guetta
I’m not saying this is new, and I’m not saying this is going to be (or should be) critically lauded, but FUCK YOU GUYS.
David Guetta isn’t exactly revolutionary these days, but I can still get it to his tracks. Some people love his Top 40 radio singles, some people love his album tracks and recordings under pseudonyms. Guetta has a label called Jack Black (or Jack Back or something), and he uses this as his space to release some of his best, least-radio-friendly (can you imagine?!) tunes. “Ain’t A Party” features two people I’ve never heard of (GLOWINTHEDARK and Harrison), and it is a complete rip-off of Blur’s “Song 2”, but I love it. LOVE. IT. Pink sampled the song as well, so maybe this is the thing to do these days? Anyways, something about this makes me feel good and want to bend my body in ways that, well, I can’t. |
