6.17.12 - New Music - Jay Sean and Pitbull

…and then there are those moments where pop music is at it’s absolute most boring and typical. Enter Jay Sean and Pitbull.

I won’t completely fault the song, as for some, it does what it is supposed to – makes you dance a little, makes you feel good, you know. Sometimes you don’t think about music, you just listen and have a good time. Fine.

For me, however, this song kind of hurts. I’m all about senseless stupid pop, but it still has to do something. It has to be something new, or something great. This song is so bland and boring, I had to turn it off. If white printer paper had a theme song, you just heard it. I don’t want to be mean and nasty (ok, I kinda do a little), but if Jay Sean wants to go back to having hits in the US, he’s going to have to do a lot better than this.

I think you can buy “I’m All Yours” now, but I won’t give you a link, because I’m not going to encourage that.
