New Music - O-Town

We’ve been seeing a lot of previously-retired pop acts coming back, and every single one gets me excited. While I was never the biggest O-Town fan, it is great to have their name pop up in the blogosphere again!

The boyband is back, sans a few members. Ashley Parker Angel, easily the Justin Timberlake of the group, isn’t along for the ride this time. Maybe he’s not convinced O-Town can make the comeback we’re looking for.

“Skydive” is a valiant attempt at a resurgence, though aimed at a different audience this time around. Instead of seeking the Hot 100, they’re looking to reach out to the adult contemporary crowd--the ones who loved them the first time.
