5.19.13 - New Music - Demi Lovato

If you liked Demi Lovato’s “Heart Attack”, you’ll…oh, I can’t even finish this sentence.

“Made In The USA” is the second single from ‘Demi’, and already I worry this album is over. The song pales in comparison to “Heart Attack”, and to many other songs on the radio as well. There is absolutely nothing here that stands out, and it isn’t even particularly good at being mediocre. Sadly, the whole thing is ruined (and believe me, it needed saving) by the chorus – the part of the song that should have been the best part.

“Our love was made in the USA”? Really? Who wrote this thing? I’m all about cheesy and terrible…as long as you do it in a way that makes me want to sing along and dance. This song does neither, and I really don’t know why this is being released as a single.
