Wait, what happened to that other single? “Hung Up” came out at some point early in 2013, but it seemed to vanish almost fast as it came. Oh well. Many a good pop song has gone that way, hasn’t it?

HCR are releasing their second single from their upcoming third album, set to be released sometime this year. “Don’t Say Goodnight” is slower and less raucous than we’ve come to expect, but that’s a good sign--shows the boys have something to offer other than another “Tonight, Tonight”.

To be honest, this is kind of a good tune. Not the best we’ve heard, but that guitar solo and vocals that follow? Doing it enough for me, at least as a passing fancy.
