1.3.13 - New Music - Bingo Players and Far East Movement

This is the sort of thing that would never happen in the US. Or, it would happen a year and a half after it was actually out.

The Bingo Players (big players [ha!] in the EDM/DJ circuit world) collaborated with Far East Movement to make this incredibly fun little bit of party music, and it seems that everyone in the UK liked it. “Get Up (Rattle)” went to #1, besting the previous charting of #44 that the BP had last year (for a song that sampled “Cry Just a Little”, which Flo Rida then went on to use).

The video is also especially fantastic, except for the part where they kill the baby duckling. No, it didn’t really happen, but just the idea of it…it makes me…I’ll be right back (leaves the room).
