12.1.12 - New Music - U2 and Tiesto

As I mentioned in my other post today, Tiesto and U2 came together to work on a song for Tiesto's 'Dance (RED) Save Lives' compilation, which goes to support Bono's (RED) campaign.

The song is a redoing of U2's famous "Pride (In The Name of Love)", but it's so much more than a remix.

It sounds like Bono rerecorded his vocals here, and also like they added in some crowd vocals. Nothing will ever change the original, but I love the feeling that this one gives. Part Bono, part live, part EDM dance anthem. Fuck guys.

This is a monster, but we wouldn't expect anything less from U2 and Tiesto, would we? The entire compilation that Tiesto has put together is massive and wonderful, and while you should pick it up, I understand if you all can't.

But after listening to that, how can you NOT at least grab a copy of that?

Well, to do so you're going to need to buy the whole album, so just suck it up pay the $8. I mean, it all goes to fighting AIDS. You simply must.

"Pride (In The Name of Love)" and the entire 'Dance (RED) Save Lives)' is available now.
