10.4.12 - New Music - Adele
Perfection.
The new James Bond theme song is here, and none other than Adele has done it better than justice. 007 Theme songs have a history of being some of the better soundtrack singles of all time, so there was a lot riding on this. Good thing they got Adele, who has never done a bad thing in her life. It is my assumption that she said no, but that they paid her an OBSCENE amount of money to make this happen. Also, while this didn’t make it in time for the Grammy nominations for this coming ceremony (the nominating period ended on September 30th), you know that it will get a nom for Best Original Song at the Oscars. And my bet is that she’s going to win, too. It is Adele, after all. |
